Hardly a spoiler when we tell you that Maraschino’s ‘Hollywood Piano’ has secured a top tier place in our 100 albums of the year rundown which is coming very soon. Timely, however, that the pop princess has shared a new video for ‘Illusions’. From the first few frames, colour and style wise, you know it’s going to hit the spot and match perfectly to the faded glittery glamour of the track. If slightly off kilter indie synth disco with heaps of Lynch-isms and Hollywood Noir thrown in is your bag then this album is for you and it’s never too late to edit your own best of the year list! Maraschino recently relocated from LA to NY and we can’t wait to hear what that does for her artistically (manifesting musical hook ups with our other fave NY-ers Bunny X and Bright Light Bright Light).
