About

I bought my first record in 1981. It was the 7″ vinyl of Kim Wilde’s Cambodia. A love affair with music began that day and it lives on today. I enjoy so many types of music and a variety of artists. I also spend a lot of time trying to discover the best in new music. I’m an old fashioned buyer of CDs as I still crave the feel of an album in my hands and that quality time spent reading the liner notes and lyric booklet. There will be no musical snobbery here and I don’t believe in guilty pleasures!

I value the music blogging community and highly recommend the following;

    Hi, loving the blog. You are very skilled at distilling songs into words in a way I admire. I work with Canterbury band M.U.T.O, an alternative rock band who weave in gothic, funk, disco and more. Think Audioslave riffs, Nick Cave lyrics but all worn very lightly. Would you consider giving them a listen?
