Tuff City Kids featuring Annie – Labyrinth (Club Mix)

31 Aug

NEW ANNIE MUSIC!!!!! We’ll take anything right now. Our Norwegian pop pixie appears on this new collab with Tuff City Kids. It’s an epic disco-ey jam with a healthy sprinkling of Annie’s magic dust.

How To Dress Well – What’s Up

31 Aug

There are many albums to look forward to in the next couple of months but it’s How To Dress Well’s ‘Care’ that I am most keenly awaiting. The 2nd taste of the album just relevaed itself in the form of ‘What’s Up’. Our guy is continuing to impress and surprise – this album is simply going to surpass anything I could hope for.

NoLove – Dreaming For Days

31 Aug

Popjustice nailed the description on this new artist from Ireland – Chrvches meets Hurts (and maybe a bit of Bastille pomp as well). His first tune ‘Dreaming For Days’ is a welcome introduction and is a decent bit of indie synth pop.

Kedr Livanskiy – Razrushitelniy Krug (Furniteur Remix)

31 Aug

We have featured Russia’s finest in the form of electronic artist Kedr Livanksiy before. We were super excited to see another of our faves, Furniteur, on remix duties and their worlds collide perfectly on this one.

Ben Hobbs – Animals

31 Aug

We have been big supporters of Ben Hobbs this year and after a minor pause he’s back in business with the beautifully simplistic ‘Animals’, which is like a Bruce Hornsby track produced by SOHN. Gorgeous.

Boyboy – Daylight

29 Aug

Keeping up his run of quality but quirky electro pop, Boyboy dropped another top tune in the shape of ‘Daylight’. This one feels more playful than what we have heard so far.

Tegan And Sara – White Knuckles

29 Aug

On an album chock full of potential singles I love that every one of them is getting a video. Earlier today ‘White Knuckles’ became the latest track to get the visual treatment.

Saint Motel – Move

29 Aug

Blogging this one again because it now has a 360  visualizer ( how modern) – no gimmicks required for me as the song remains glued on my ipod. Only now have I twigged it’s Kasabian taking on ‘Boom Shake The Room’ – that’s what I’m hearing anyway.

Client Liaison – Wild Life

28 Aug

Big fan of Client Liaison in all that they do. ‘Wild Life’ might be their finest pop moment. It has the usual late 80s synth line but there’s a hint of early 90s dance in there too and all of it done with total panache and class.

Saffari – Your Love Is A Lazer

28 Aug

We have featured Saffari’s retro synth wave pop on T&D before and are super pleased to share the new tune ‘Your Love Is A Lazer’ which is an absolute blast. Don’t let the tongue in cheek stylings mislead you, this is an epic pop tune with just the right mix of nostagia, BPM and pop goodness.
