The Goods – Tapdancer

Anyone who knows me well will know that I have championed the many musical guises of Ms Holly Palmer for many years. You can dip into any one of her four outstanding solo albums and find pure musical gold (Tender Hooks and Songs for Tuesday being my favourites). Holly is now striking out with comrades in Puppini Sisters-esque crimes Lucy Woodward and Michelle Lewis. Their debut EP was released this week and here’s a groovy little live version of one of the tracks – Tapdancer. Their debut music video is due very soon. Go Holly!

Aussie females are having an incredible year producing some of the best electronic music – from Emma Louise to Owl Eyes and now Gossling. This is the single from her debut album which is due in November. No UK release details as yet but hopefully it’s just a matter of time.

DIANA’s debut album has just been released and it’s a lovely little album. Shades of The XX but a bit more of an 80s vibe going on. Here’s one of the standout tracks.

Mutya Keisha Siobhan – Flatline

I know so many people who are flipping out over this. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good and Siobhan is definitely the best thing about it but I am just not quite feeling the same level of love as everyone else. Hoping it will be a grower.
