Mowgli May – Streets Calling

It’s always a good use of time to peruse the latest uploads on the Triple J Unearthed website. We’ve lost count of the top notch discoveries we’ve made on there. We’re a bit obsessed with Mowgli May having found her track ‘Streets Calling’ earlier today. The Aussies are where it’s at for high quality and maximum fun party music right now – Blusher, Confidence Man, Florian and CC: Disco are all at the top of their game and you can add Mowgli May to that list. This track is lyrically genius (vodka and lemon water – yes thanks!) and the hook grabs you hard and doesn’t relent. We love all of the attention to detail including the sublime outro and spoken word telephone call breakdown. Get bopping. P.S if there’s another party scene in season 2 of Colin From Accounts we want this tune to soundtrack it (ConMan was the perfect choice for season 1)!
