It’s time for another remix round up and this time with a little bit of a theme. We’ve made four selections, each of which helps us feel that sunnier times and a proper holiday is within touching distance. Each rework here provides a different coastal or poolside feeling.
Bangbang loomed into view at the back end of 2022 and stole our hearts and ears with the supersonic ‘San Fan Gigolo’. The Italo throb has been softened, sweetenend and further suntanned on this tropical delight courtesy of Basement Love. Gorgeous new artwork too – going to need art prints of these if the series continues!
You can hear the waves lapping the shore at the start of this one. It’s the track you want to hear when you’ve had a day in the sun and the cocktails have been flowing. You’re feeling completely relaxed and slightly disorienated in a good way as the worries of the world slip away. More artwork to die for in the most blissful pinks and blues. Truly beautiful work from Cyril Hahn aka Pool Boy on this rework of A Vision Of Panama’s ‘Let Me’ with vocals from Sykes.
You’ve come to from your late afternoon sun drenched disco nap on the sun lounger. In remix form, Braxe + Falcon with Panda Bear provide the track to get you bopping your head as you rejoin the world and get ready to get your vacay party night started. ‘Step By Step’ was another of our songs of 2022 and it’s got plenty of life left in it, especially with T&D regular Axel Bowman doing his thing.
With this remix of ‘Terrible’ by Montgomery, self appointed juice box pop punk icons The Teenage Joans have provided the remix track which takes you direct from the hotel poolside to your coastal drive (Aussie coastline obvs) with the top down and beats a-blasting. Hold on to your sunhats.
