YSSY – Good Enough

We are absolutely thrilled to welcome YSSY to Teases & Dares. This Canadian pairing have somehow managed to fly under our radar but we are looking forward to tracking back through their catalogue after falling hard for ‘Good Enough’. We rarely need to be persuaded to give male/female synthpop duos a listen. Elliot’s voice (and what a perfect pop voice – part Chynna Phillips, part Madonna) is given lots of space to be front and centre in the opening segments before different synth sounds expand and then explode as the song builds. It’s a sad banger of epic proportions.
