Whitney Mower AKA They/Live delivered Teases and Dares’ 2nd most beloved record of 2020 with the stunning ‘Ablation’. That album has continued to keep us very entertained in 2021 and indeed there have been some remixes and acoustic reworks to enjoy more recently. However today is super special as there is brand new music to savour. ”To Know Your Love’ starts like we are listening in to a call from a lost mission somewhere in outer space. Glitchy sci-fi synths percolate away before giving way to a hypnotic soft groove and gentle late night funk – at all times still very other worldly thanks in part to Whitney’s versatile vocal. They/Live remains flawless.
