It seems a lifetime ago we fell under the spell of Pure Bathing Culture’s ‘Pray For Rain’ album and it’s bewitching title track. We lost touch a bit and now realise we missed the duo covering Blue Nile’s ‘Hats’ in its entirety – something we will belatedly check out. Back to the present day and PBC just released a beautiful and other worldly concept EP entitled ‘Roxi’s Dream, Pt. 1’. The lead track ‘In Gardens Under Evergreen’ features one of the most moving vocals Sarah has delivered alongside Daniel’s soft and dreamlike 80s synth and programming sounds. You feel as if you are enveloped in a warm mist akin to wandering through a botannical garden greenhouse with butterflies fluttering above.
