Pont Neuf is rapidly becoming a go to label for us here at Teases & Dares. The anticipation builds for the new Mira Ló EP ‘Memories’ (out April 28). The latest track is the slinky stunner that is ‘My Best Memory’. From hearing the synths that bubble up as part of the intro we knew we were on to a winner. Then the laid back beats drop and in comes Lou Martini with a classy vocal. We especially enjoy the use of voicemail recordings in music and there’s a killer one included here with Lou letting someone know just how much they miss them and specific memories which the estranged lover will be surprised to hear – might he win them back? Our only gripe is that the stunning artwork doesn’t appear to be included on the forthcoming vinyl release – the font alone is to die for.
