Morgan Kibby is one major talent. She’s been part of records by Lady Gaga and M83 and released her own brilliant music as White Sea (go listen to ‘Arcadia’ from her ‘Tropical Odds’ record). More recently she’s been a composer for film and TV including for the smash new Prime Video show ‘The Power’. Despite all these strands to her career she’s managed to find the time to create a new musical persona for herself in the form of Sue Clayton and we are stoked! ‘Runaway Bride’ has left us stunned with it’s ladies of the canyon meets 80s power pop with some modern country feels – think Linda Ronstadt, Kacey Musgraves and Jenny Lewis but with a blurry synth haze in the mix. The Sue Clayton album ‘Rookie’ arrives in early May and it’s a must listen for us – counting the days.
