Having been inspired by the disco resurgence of the past couple of years, indie groovesters Girl Ray have taken that sound and made it their own – and that something is both incredibly cool and tonnes of fun. Chic meets Bananarama with Dua’s swagger and Haim’s musicality is what we hear. An album full of these sunny, shuffly disco bangers please Girl Ray.
