We stumbled across this gem after noticing that it was released by Personal Best Records – a legendary boutique label coming out of Australia. The label has released cult classics from T&D regulars like Holiday Sidewinder, Florian and Coastal Elite. ‘Taste For Danger’ is the debut single by Heartland – a duo comprised of Caleb Jacobs and Melissah Mirage. It’s taken from the soundtrack to a movie called ‘The Longest Weekend’. Sonically it’s very warm disco with a housey piano and a big pop vocal. It ticks so many of our boxes right down to the neon soaked artwork!
