Here’s a gem to wrap your ears around this New Music Friday and it contains the maximum of Scandipop talent. Charlotte Qvale is responsible for one of our most beloved winter songs (‘Oslo’) and Margaret Berger delivered top 5 Eurovision of all time with ‘I Feed You My Love’. Them coming together was always going to be special and it really is. ‘Play On’ starts like a gentle acoustic bop but by the end you feel you’ve been listening to first album era Madonna (think ‘Borderline’ with a Norwegian twist!). Loving that little sax break which unexpectedly blows in.
