When a new Hot Chip album was announced we noticed a dream team pairing of the band with album of the year 2021 standout artist Lou Hayter. As soon as the ‘Freakout/Release’ album dropped today we dashed to listen to ‘Hard To Be Funky’. It has a gentle swagger to it whilst remaining pretty spiky. We LOVE that little spoken word section Lou comes in with – effortlessly cool.
