‘Life In Plastic’ has raced ahead to pole position for album of the year contender – and it’s only 48 hours old! That’s the impact this bopfest has had. It’s been a while since an album came out where the second it ends you just go straight back to the beginning and replay!! The pace doesn’t let you catch your breath and it’s almost impossible to pick out highlights. However……we have to shout out ‘Thessaloniki’ because it’s the most sultry of the grooves on the record. A tale of running away to a magical place and enjoying the pleasures of the flesh beneath the burning hot sun. The whole record should be available on prescription in terms of escapism and pure enjoyment.
