We were not ready for a ten minute post apocalyptic opus from Metric this week. Having hardly caught our breath from the monster banger ‘All Comes Crashing’, this one really thumps you right between the eyes. It’s almost like Metric’s whole musical output condensed into this one epic piece of music. The synths fizz, the guitars crunch and Emily has a new urgency about her. Our minds are flipping out thinking about how this one is going to sound live.
