What a beautiful Eurovision night it was. The power of music can unite and heal us in a way nothing else can. It was heartwarming to see the outpouring of love and support for the Ukraine and what a thrill to see Sam Ryder’s positive attitude rewarded with the runner up slot. In advance of the competition, Sweden’s Cornelia Jakobs was our favourite and that has only become more cemented with multiple plays of ‘Hold Me Closer’ in recent days. This is top tier Eurovision and up there with our all time besties like Margaret Berger’s ‘I Feed You My Love’. We sure hope her top five placing last night leads to more success because she’s a superstar.
