Blue Hawaii are spinning out classic dance EPs for fun right now. Their latest, ‘My Bestfriend’s House’, is pure euphoric joy from start to finish. The aptly titled ‘Danced Into My Life’ bops as hard as anything they’ve ever done. It starts with some retro keys recalling the pre-titles for peak time American TV viewing in the 80s – the sort of thing which lets you know which network you are watching. That’s before the bassy beats whack you round the face and go full throttle for the three minute duration of the song (it could go so much longer). Like a pool party raveathon mega mash up with Jessy Lanza and Confidence Man.
