Fancy a bit of theatrical, musical circus? Well say hello to Nova Halo. ‘Avatar’ has a throw in the kitchen sink approach sonically – with 80s riffs, guitar licks, a Kate Bush eccentricity and yet a pounding pop heart beats beneath much like our beloved Holiday Sidewinder. Just when you think you’ve settled, in comes the brass and then the groove shuffles along some more. Utterly charming.
