They’ve been dropping remixes (all excellent by the way) for other artists in recent months to whet the appetite for a full return and it’s finally happened! We’ve enjoyed St Lucia’s evolution in sound and embrace all the styles they’ve played with but we have to admit it’s the stadium sized megabanger approach that we love the most. ‘Rocket On My Feet’ has well and truly delivered on that as is evident from the first few seconds of synth throb and astral bleeps – this one really does zoom us to the stars. It has a naughty playfulness we saw on Scissor Sisters’ ‘Night Work’ record, some Goldfrapp-esque glam stomp and a hint of 70s yacht disco. We adore EVERYTHING about this and if this is where a new St Lucia album is heading then we are truly ready for blast off.
