Hikaru Utada – Bad Mode

Last week we shared the 12 minute long electronic opus that is Hikaru Utada’s ‘Somewhere Near Marseilles’ and we aren’t stopping there. The title track and album opener from ‘Bad Mode’ is our new favourite thing in the world. It’s the most warm, inviting and brassy form of disco and all the more delightful for being sung in Japanese and English. There’s a beautifully arresting video to boot as well.
