Annie – She’s Like The Wind/Class Actress – Wicked Game

Soooo much incredible new music this week and it happened while we were away with work and unable to experience it all. We know we won’t catch up with everything so we’ve gone straight to our faves, kicking off with a pair of sizzling dark synthpop covers both dripping in neon. Annie has released her ‘Neon Nights’ EP which picks up exactly where her ‘Dark Hearts’ album left off. Who knew that we needed a David Lynch meets synthwave take on ‘She’s Like The Wind’? I mean it’s pure classic Annie. Next up we have Class Actress who keeps adding songs to her ‘Sense Memory’ project. The latest being an almost Italo take on Chris Isaak’s ‘Wicked Game’. Both excellent options for your playlist choices this weekend.
