Annie – Just Like Honey

I mean this really ought not to work but in Princess Annie of Norway’s hands, this Jesus and Mary Chain cover is just sublime. We wonder if this track (along with ‘Neon Lights’) was part of the ‘Dark Hearts’ sessions but just didn’t quite fit the vibe. Whatever the case we are thrilled for more new Annie music, especially when Stefan Storm is involved too. They really have a magical partnership. It’s just a shame ‘Just Like Honey’ is over in only two minutes 24 seconds – we could listen all night.
