Laura Mvula – Church Girl

Laura just confirmed the details of her brand new album,, the delightfully named ‘Pink Noise’, which will arrive in time for summer. ‘Church Girl’ is the 2nd taster track and it manages to sound like Tasmin Archer, Scritti Politti and, wait for it, Five Star! We’re really enjoying the soft pastel synth flashes added to Laura’s sound – hoping these are in effect across the full record as they really suit her.
