Widows – Bloodlight

Not one of the most easily searchable band names but…….we think Stefan Storm (from The Sound of Arrows and Annie’s musical partner on ‘Dark Hearts’) and Firefox AK have created a secret mini Scandi-supergroup. Joel Sjöö is also in the mix (co-writer of Duncan Laurence’s Eurovision smash ‘Arcade’) so there’s a whole of talent involved. Their debut single ‘Bloodlight’ snuck out a couple of months ago but we stumbled across it just this week. The song is darker electronica than we might have expected with a nod to 90s rave as well as the complexity of the The Knife/Fever Ray.
