Faerie – Fever Dream/White Noise (2AM EP)

We’ve been desperately looking forward to sharing Faerie’s EP with you after hearing it a few weeks back ahead of the official release today. In original form ‘Fever Dream’ sounds just like you would expect it to based upon the dreamy artwork. Faerie’s vocals are caramel smooth and the synths and production are so warm and inviting. In remix form Drew Grit adds a layer of guitar turning it into an indie dancefloor shuffler, while the discofox remix teases both electro and drum and bass and creates a banger in the process. There’s also ‘White Noise’ which is a slightly more chilled (although the chorus is unexpectedly funky) slice of electronica every bit as delightful as ‘Fever Dream’.
