We tend to associate synthwave with quite cold, icy sounds in the main but TJ is operating at the warmer, sunnier end of the genre – very much on the edge of it. ‘Sympathy’ is glowing, poolside ready electronica – with textured production and treated vocals. Stylish artwork too.
