Vivian Green featuring Ghostface Killah – Light Up

It’s been 18 years since Vivian Green floored us with her stunning debut album ‘A Love Story’. We have to admit we haven’t kept up with Vivian in recent years but her name popped up on a playlist we were perusing earlier today and boy are we glad we hit play. ‘Light Up’ (sampling Evelyn Champagne King’s ‘Love Come Down’) is a funk filled bit of RnB with a classy rap by Ghostface Killah. Vivian sounds in crazy good voice – flitting between smooth and belting with effortless grace. ‘Love Absolute’ is the new album out next week and we will surely be checking that one out.
