Slanger – Westlake Dance/Airspace (featuring Hawaii94)

Slanger’s EP ‘Next Steps’ is here and we just took it for a little test drive. This is the warmer side of synthwave with a few yachtpop-isms and sunny St Lucia vibes too. On first listen we were drawn to ‘Airspace’ which features Hawaii94 (definitely hearing St Lucia on that one) and the airy and spacious ‘Westlake Dance’. The album artwork has a refreshing blue and green colour scheme which, whilst we adore our pinks and purples, is endearingly fresh.
