‘Synthian – The Remixes’ is out today and NINA has some synthwave heroes as well as all round pop music legends involved. Ricky Wilde’s remix of ‘The Wire’ which is now a duet with big sis Kim Wilde is one of the tracks of the year for us at T&D. The track has a huge dramatic rock edge and Kim and NINA’s vocals blend so beautifully. Robert Parker’s clubbed up version of ‘Unnoticed’ is ace and we love Highway Superstar’s sophistipop slo-jam take on ‘Synthian’ (NINA reimagined as a smoky jazz club singer is genius).
