Big shout out to the Purple Sneakers blog for bringing this Aussie and her ‘Tango’ into our lives. How do we begin to describe it. Well, it sounds like a Europop bop from 1985 that you might have discovered whilst watching Eurotrash on Channel 4 with Antoine Des Caunes after getting in from a night at the pub. The inspiration for the track is actually an Italian-Hungarian porn star who went into politics (perfect subject matter for Eurotrash). ‘Tango’ shows the present love for all things disco is manifesting in many forms. And so if Holiday Sidewinder, Spagna and Haysi Fantayzee formed a supergroup this is what it might sound like. So fun!
