Sofia Kourtesis – Hollywood

Studio Barnhus is a label we are increasingly enamoured with – especially since falling in love with Bella Boo’s album last year. Our new discovery on the label is Berlin based but Peruvian born Sofia Kourtesis. Her new four track release ‘Sarita Colonia’ is our kind of dreamy, melodic house. The title track thumps along quite wonderfully but we are hitting repeat on ‘Hollywood’ – loving the little spoken bits of dialogue chopped up with the driving beats.
