L’Avenue – City Lights

One of our most beloved musical discoveries of 2019 was L’Avenue and his entirely perfect ‘Cherry Crush’ EP. L’Avenue has been embraced and indeed welcomed into the synthwave family and we couldn’t be more excited to see him make his live debut at Retrowave D’Luxe in London in June (alongside some other huge Synth/Retrowave names including our other faves New Arcades). Revisiting this beautiful EP today and here’s ‘City Lights’ complete with Japanese City Pop vibes as the cherry on top. A little birdy tells us some vinyl copies might soon be on the way which, if you have seen and admired the artwork, are most welcomed. Indeed we want our whole house to look like a L’Avenue record sleeve.
