This is all kinds of icy indie synth heaven. Leathers’ new one ‘Highrise’ sounds like vintage Client and Ladytron with some Kate Jackson suburban chic swagger. “Cool as concrete…naked on the balcony” is one iconic lyric line. The words and music collide to create such vivid imagery in our minds. An album this good would be most welcome please Leathers!
